Obituary of Desmond D. Hall
Please share a memory of Desmond to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
ROCHESTER, NY – February 6, 2025
Mr. Desmond Duran Hall was born on April 22, 1962 in Rochester, NY. He is the son of the late Harry Paul Hall Sr. and Frances Marie (Baker) Hall.
Desi was the name he went by. He never married and had no biological children of his own but was a great stepfather. He knew so many people while growing up in the Rochester area. He was a self-sufficient man, very intelligent, a great communicator, adventurous, loving and generous. In his youth he enjoyed playing Basketball, Football and Bowling.
He was a real brother, if you asked him a question. His response was honest, never a phony. His favorite pastime was watching sports or being with his friends on the Ave. He was a true friend, one of a kind. If you asked Desi for anything, and he had it. He would give it to you. He loved GOD and the Bible. He would pray on his knees every morning before he started his day.
Desi received his High School Diploma for Madison High School. He worked for Bausch and Lomb, St Mary’s Hospital, Baden Street and The Convention Center.
Desi belonged to Grace Community Church as the Treasure.
We will miss you, Son, Brother, Stepfather and Friends
