I did not get to attend the community memorial but I so desired to be there! Mrs. Banister was a strong force and there’s no question of the impact she left on anyone she encountered. I had the pleasure of knowing her as my administrator in middle school but also in another capacity, that didn’t leave me lost on her caring, yet firm demeanor. She commanded respect by simply BEING. You could learn from her, watch her example and look to be like her. She was amazing and her presence will be sorely missed.
